Emotion-Based Meditation Group
This meditation group is for people to come together and connect to themselves and their emotions. We believe that getting more in touch with our feelings can help to unlearn toxic behaviour. This meeting is open to everyone and takes about 45 minutes.
Most of us have learnt in our upbringing to resist and push down our feelings. In one way or another, we got the message from our surroundings that our emotions are not welcome. When we suppress our emotions, we are suppressing a part of ourselves. This results in stress, tension in the body, and an increased likelihood of unconscious behaviour. When we start to feel our emotions we can learn about ourselves and we can start to feel more comfortable in our own skin.
In this group we focus on meditations that are based on feeling our body and our emotions. The meditations might involve self-touch and movement. The mediations are guided by a facilitator, and at the end there is some time for sharing about your experience in groups of 2.
The doors open at 11:00, the group starts at 11:15. Please try to avoid coming after 11:15. There is a maximum of 14 people. Please reserve your spot by emailing: paulsmidpantarei@gmail.com
The suggested donation is 5 euro. No one will be denied for lack of funds.
